Gifts for the Soul!

December 3, 2020 - We came to give holiday cheer to the wonderful residents of St Scholastica Convent. We visited the retired senior nuns, and they enjoyed our company - introducing ourselves and telling why we were there. We were careful to be safe with social distancing, and of course with masks.

We gave our gifts and enjoyed the conversation with these lovely souls. After we were all about to leave, the beautiful white haired nuns said a prayer for us in a song. It took me back to Catholic school days. It was so beautiful, and touched us. We had come to show them some love, and they turned around and gave US a beautiful gift.

So wonderfully satisfying! What a great start for us delivering the Socks from the Soul! They remind me why I continue to do this.
